Thursday, September 6, 1928 Rained nearly all day again today. Went in to the Railway Station to take the eight o'clock train for New York. Got some breakfast at the station restaurant. Met Harley there and went on to New York. Met our Mr. Chamberlain in the Grand Central Station. He had gone down from Bridgeport on another train. We went over to 48th Street to the W.H.S. Lloyd Co's store on invitation from them to meet and consider the proposition of representing their imported Wall Papers in our territories, Connecticut and western Massachusetts. We spent all day with them and concluded the contract, leaving for home on the six o'clock train Daylight Saving Time. We had dinner on the train. On my arrival in New Haven, I went at once to Calvary Church House to as trustees meeting. T.P.H. and Sarah drove down from Vermont today, Sarah's camp having closed this morning. We are so glad to have her at home again. [Prev](1928_09_05.md) - [Next](1928_09_07.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1aGYCOIxxTeLwq5rNmjFA7yMradnqqPbN">
