Opened the store at 7-30 and took charge of the switch board. Again went to the dentists at noon. Luncheon at Quinnipiack at noon. Tomorrow is our thirtieth wedding anniversary and as I shall be in Hartford all day and night, we thought we would celebrate today so Tess called for me at six. We then called for Sarah at the Drama School, took Mary Francis Stout along too, and went over to the "Madura House" cor. of Howe Street and Edgewood Ave. for supper. Took the girls back to school then we went down to the Olympia to the movies. Violette gave Tess a piece of her blue glass and Sally and I gave her eight bullion cups and plates also thirty one dollar bills.
