Friday, August 2, 1929 Still in New York at the Hotel Commodore. Breakfast here. Looked over Haffelfinger's line, Stanford Wall Paper Co., W.H.S. Lloyd Co. Line, and Walcutt for the covers. Had lunch with Mr. Mullen and Mr. Tucker of the W.H.S. Lloyd Co. at the Murray Hill Hotel. Mr. Chamberlain went home to Bridgeport at 3 P.M. I came home on the 5 P.M. Standard Time. Had dinner on the train. T.P.H. met me at the station. Alice Drew Lockwood was there going back home to Norwalk, Conn. Much cooler tonight in New Haven.
