Saturday, August 3, 1929 Store closed at one o'clock. I had lunch in town then went back to the office and worked till five o'clock. Came home on the trolly car and spent the evening at home writing up my New Haven Grays Veterans Association reports. Had a fine rain storm this afternoon and evening but not nearly enough of it.
