Tuesday, August 6, 1929 Attended Rotary meeting of my own New Haven Club today at Hotel Taft. It was held in the Ball Room as they are rebuilding the Palm Room where we usually eat. Mr. Chamberlain and I started to make selections from the new lines of Wall Papers for our 1930 books. Met with the Budget Committee of the Community Chest at four o'clock in the Board Room of the New Union and New Haven Trust Co. building. The meeting gave opportunity for the Boys Scouts Executive Committee to present our budget for next year. We also held a meeting of the Council at Boys Scouts headquarters at five o'clock to consider purchasing more land at our camp site in Winsted.
