Wednesday, August 7, 1929 A most beautiful day, clear and bright and beautiful. Drove up to Lakeville, Conn. to the Hotchkiss School. Took Mr. Burnham of the Billings Chapin Co. to see about paint. Had lunch in Canaan. Came back by the way of Hartford. Left Mr. Burnham at the station there to take a train for Boston. I drove on up to Windsor Locks to an outdoor camp dinner of the Thompsonville Club with the Windsor Locks Rotary Club as guests. We had a good time.
