Thursday, August 8, 1929 Another warm, clear, fine day. We do need rain so badly. Received a letter from Sarah today, mailed in London and describing her motor trip with Bert Hodges from London to Blackpool and to Aunt Jane and Percy. She is enjoying her experience so much. Mr. Chamberlain and I worked on Wall Paper selections all day long. I got supper in town and did my desk work tonight. T.P.H. called for me about ten o'clock.
