Very warm again. The grass and foliage is responding to the rain of yesterday to overcome the long drought. Worked all day long selecting wall paper for the new books. Came home to dinner tonight. Ed Cole came out and stayed all night with us. He drove a truck over from Southampton, L.I. and brought back lighting equipment from the Hampton Players Theatre to the Yale Department of Drama. Worked on my speach on the "Rotary International Assembly" to be given tomorrow at the New Haven Rotary Club.
