Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. We are back in the Palm Room after it being redecorated. T.P.H. drove over to Willimantic to get Father and Mother Peck, who had been spending a week with relatives over there. I worked at York Street office, going home on the trolly car. Lois Hodges Clark, who was operated yesterday for appendicitis, is resting as comfortably as possible. Cablegram from Sarah at Copenhagen, Denmark asking me to send her some money. I got it off this noon by Western Union.
