Warm and muggy today. Jack Gilbert of the Gilbert Wallpaper Co. at the store today. He is a fine young chap. I took him to lunch at the Quinnipiack Club. Met with the Aims and Objects Committee of the New Haven Rotary Club at the Graduates Club at eleven o'clock. Helped them shape up the program. T.P.H. went down to Bridgeport to see "Auntie B" and took down the snapshots Sally took of Aunt Jane, Percy, and Bert. She called for me on her way back and we came home for dinner. Much to our surprise, we found Nat Noble at the house. He has just completed an eleven months trip around the world working at every conceivable kind of job to pay his way. We had a fine visit with him and kept him all night.
