Saturday, August 24, 1929 Lovely day again today. We closed the store at one o'clock but I stayed all the afternoon as the painters were hanging wallpaper in my office and varnishing the stairs. Our offices have been torn up a month now, having them redecorated, to show "Anaglypta" and "Realwood", two products imported by W.H.S. Lloyd Co. of New York. T.P.H. called for me and we came home and had dinner. Spent the evening at home.
