Hot again today but clear and fine. Certainly are fine days to finish up the vacation season. Worked all day on my wallpaper. We have finished selecting the No. 1 and No. 2 books and I started to write up the orders. Worked till ten o'clock on them. T.P.H. came in with the Packard and brought me home. The Graf Zeppelin that flew from Germany to Lakehurst, N.J. and then back again to Fredrickshafen started again there and flew to Tokyo, Japan and from there to Los Angeles, California. Arrived there today having successfully crossed the Pacific Ocean. Tomorrow, she will start again for Lakehurst, New Jersey, completing around the world cruise. They hope to accomplish the trip in twelve days, which will be the shortest time that man as ever circled the globe. Surely these are days of wonderful achievement.
