Monday, December 9, 1929 Cloudy all day but no storm. Busy at store all day. Meeting of the Executive Com. of the Broadway Association at Mr. Steven's office, Elm Street. We passed a vote authorizing the appointment of a committee to arrange for a decorated Christmas tree in the Broadway Park. Also made plans for the annual meeting and dinner. T.P.H. met me at the store and we had dinner at the Hotel Duncan then went to Woolsey Hall to hear the concert of the University Glee Club. It was most enjoyable. Woolsey Hall was packed with a most appreciative audience. We took Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin of Edgewood Ave. and Norton Street home, Mr. Baldwin being very feeble.
