Wednesday, December 11, 1929 Made my official visit to the Greenwich Rotary Club today. Mr. Chamberlain took me down in his car and brought me home. Our meeting and luncheon was held at the Picwick Arms, a most delightful place. We had a fine meeting of both club and assembly. The club sent Tessie a five pound box of "Pickwick Inn" chocolates. Mr. Chamberlain and I spent the afternoon calling on customers in Greenwich and Stanford. I came back to the store and worked till eleven o'clock then called for Sally at the Drama School.
