Thursday, December 12, 1929 Very cold this morning, only four above zero. Harley and I drove up to Springfield store. We had a conference at the Hotel Kimball with Mr. Page and Mr. Fitch on next year's business. We had dinner together and I came down home on the 8-30 train. H.M. stayed over night at hotel. Started snowing just as I was leaving. Got to New Haven, went to the office at 10-30, and worked till 11-30. Then called for Sarah at Yale Drama School. Bad fire in West Haven today. Oil burner exploded and burned building and seven stores. [Prev](1929_12_11.md) - [Next](1929_12_13.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/19FLtWTMSqXqbal7KAS9Hwqmi5s9CRz9j">
