Friday, December 13, 1929 The snow of last night turned to rain and it rained hard all day and it surely is sloppy going. Meeting of a committee of the Boys Scouts with a committee from the Community Chest to talk over the financial relationship of the scouts to the chest. Had dinner down town and attended a big gathering of scouts in Woolsey Hall for a Court of Honor presentation. I spoke as President of the Southern New Haven County Council. Had luncheon this noon at Hotel Taft with Mr. and Mrs. Tucker of the W.H.S. Lloyd Co. of New York, importers of wall paper.
