Rain and fog again all day and all night. Mr. Chamberlain took me to Wallingford, where I made my official visit to the Wallingford Rotary Club. Met at St. George's Inn. I came back with John Duncan. Worked at office till six then went down to the Hoff Bran House and spoke at a dinner of the Employing Master Painters Association. I left early and attend the performance of "No More Frontier" at the Yale University Theatre. It was a fine production. Sarah had the costumes this time. Peter drove us out home then went back in after Sally, who stayed to "Strike the Show". All in all, it has been a busy day.
