Friday, December 20, 1929 Cleared up today and the sun came out. Sally and Peter went to Hartford to put on the Oxford School play. They worked all the morning on equipment, played to an afternoon and evening performance, then stayed and put everything away. They had dinner with "Chick" and Virginia (Cosby). I went out this afternoon to call on Harold and Mrs. Dorr, who has just lost their little daughter, five years old.
