Thursday, December 26, 1929 Quite warm and consequently thawing. The day after the Day of Days and everybody feeling quite low. Peter went back to New York this morning. I worked at the store till 10-30 tonight on Wall Paper lists and prices. We had six women come in to the Wall Paper Department to pick up sample books. Here to fore we have used High School boys, we are going to try out women this year. The started No. 1 Book today, No. 2 is all printed and Walter Smith is printing the small book.
