Tuesday, February 5, 1929 Drove to Springfield store and back today. Took Sarah up to the Oxford School for her classes. It was a beautiful Winter day, cold and clear with brilliant sunshine on the snow. The highway's were all bare, cleaned off by the Highway Department of the State. Had lunch at the Kimball Hotel. Called on some customers with Mr. Page then drove down home. Stopped in Hartford for Sarah also brought some children down as far as Farmington. Stopped at the house and picked up T.P.H. and the three of us drove down to Lois and Franklin's to dinner. We had a fine dinner and spent a pleasant evening with them.
