Wednesday, February 6, 1929 Warm spring rain all day long. It melted the ice and snow and as ground was frozen underneath, running water was everywhere. Family supper at Calvary Church tonight, object to raise money enough to insure our coming out even on our budget May the first. On account of the storm, there were only eighty five present instead of two hundred or more. Nevertheless, we raised eleven hundred dollars by the few that were there.
