Thursday, February 7, 1929 Worked at store all day long on Wall Paper records. Intended going home to dinner tonight and spending the evening with my family but Mr. Camp came in late this afternoon and urged me to attend a dinner and meeting at the Quinnipiack Club. This dinner was arranged for by Mr. John T. Manson to meet a Mr. Robson of New York who presented to us a plan for building church membership by friendly Christian calling one on the other. It was a very interesting plan. The Rev. Behrens Mertens brought me home in his car.
