Beautiful day. The snow of last night soon melted. Worked till after lunch time then took the Packard No. 2 and drove down to Norwalk to the organization of a Rotary Club there. Don Adams, Don North, Jim Thwing, and Frank Terrell drove down and helped put it over. We had fifteen men present and three more ready to sign up that were a obliged to be absent. The New Haven men all gave talks on Rotary. We elected officers and a Board of Directors. A Mr. Maschell was elected the first president. I brought Don back to New Haven with me. Sarah and John Cliarman attended the Costume Ball of the Yale Art School at the new art gallery. They won second prize for the best costumed couple. They arrived home at 4 A.M. Harley and Alice left for Chicago tonight to attend Paint Jobbers Convention.
