Sunday, February 17, 1929 A beautiful day. Clear and cold. We all drove into town this morning. Left Cole and Alice on Orange Street. T.P.H. and Sally went to St. Paul's and I went to Calvary to church and school. Tess took Father Peck into St. Paul's with her. She had him seated way down front so he heard very well. Grant Noble came out to dinner. Alice was here too. Ed Cole had to go the theatre to work on crew. I attended a meeting of the finance committee of Calvary Church at Mr. Bidwell's house at Old Hartford Turnpike. Coming home, I was picked up by a neighbor and brought home. In getting out of their car in front of our house, I stepped into a deep frozen put and fell flat, twisting my ankle badly. I fixed it up the best I could and went down to the Howard Avenue M.E. Church to speak at a Boys Scouts Service. [Prev](1929_02_16.md) - [Next](1929_02_18.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1ZVCDV-YolE1ZbH_LpAijIRA_2FKE_JPg">
