T.P.H. took me right straight in to Doctor Baldwin and had him bandage up my foot. It is very sore. I did not sleep very much last night. Doctor said I had not broken anything but badly sprained the cords. It felt better after it was bandaged. I went to the office and worked all day. Attended the Annual Meeting and dinner of the Broadway Association, held at Longley's Cafeteria, Orange and Court Streets. We had as our guests Mayor Tully, Chief of Police Philip Smith, Chief of the Fire Department Reif, Director of Public Works McGovern, and other guests. About 100 sat down. At the business meeting proceeding the dinner, I was elected president for this year.
