Rained hard all day long. Glad it isn't snow or we would be buried. Rotary lunch at Hotel Taft today. Ray Knocpel of the New York Rotary Club was the speaker and he gave us a fine Rotary talk. Home tonight to dinner and spend the evening. Sarah drove to Hartford to take charge of her classes. Mrs. Knapp rode up with her in order to see Aletha. She is in town tonight at a rehearsal at St. Paul's Church. At the Foot Gaurd Ball in the Armory on Meadow Street, John Coolidge, son of President Coolidge and Florence Trumbull, daughter of Governor Trumbull of Connecticut, were quite the center of attraction.
