Thursday, January 3, 1929 Went to City Hall (New Haven) to a hearing before a special meeting of a Committee of the Board of Alderman regarding an appropriation for the erection of a memorial to the late Mayor John B. Tower in the Tower Parkway. I went as one of a committee representing the Broadway Association. Went back to the store and worked till late on Wall Paper records.
