Friday, January 4, 1929 Went up to the Springfield store today. Went up on the train as I was afraid to drive up, fearing that I might run into ice and snow up there. But although there was a little ice in the side streets, there is no snow anywhere in the state of Massachusetts or Connecticut either for that matter which is rather unusual for January. Came back and went up to Calvary Church to a Christmas Party for the Intermediate and Senior Departments.
