Very cold and a high wind. Drove down to Norwalk, Conn. to confer with Rev. Edgar Brown in regard to starting a Rotary Club down there. We met several of the men and think they are interested. Wind on the Milford Turnpike was very strong, almost blew the car off the road. Came back to the store and worked very late on Wall Paper records. President Elect Herbert Hoover returned to the United States from the Good Will Tour of Central and South America. The American people generally are pleased over this experience, feeling that it will tend to bring the two Americas closer together.
