Tuesday, January 8, 1929 Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft. Mayor Tully spoke on the "Problems of New Haven". He gave us a fine frank talk. Harley and I met at our office tonight and went over our records and decided to let Charles Treat go. He has been too big expense for us to stand any longer. Sorry to have him go.
