Coldest morning of the year. Thermometer 8° below zero up here at Ives Corner. Did not warm up much all day long. Had dinner tonight at Mary's with Dr. Hiscock and Dr. Swan, and a group of other doctors. We then moved over to Lampson Lyceum Yale Campus to a meeting of Boys Scouts and their fathers to hear Dr. Swan to speak to them on sex. It was a mighty fine meeting. Went back to the store and worked on Wall Paper records. T.P.H. brought her father and mother over to our house for good. They have broked up house keeping after nearly sixty five years. We hope to make them happy and comfortable.
