Thermometer just zero at our back door this morning. Although the air was so fine and clear that we did not notice it. T.P.H. took Sarah and I into town then, after clearing my desk, I drove with Ray Hall up to Hartford to the Connecticut Master Painters Convention, held at the Hotel Bond. Meetings this morning. Luncheon this noon with Hall, Spaulding, Chamberlain, and nine customers who are here. Meetings again this afternoon and dinner at the hotel. Then an entertainment and dance this evening.
