Wednesday, January 23, 1929
Snowed during the night. Drove in town and got the car ready to go to Springfield. Took Mr. Skeen, Mr. Davis, and Mr. Behling along with me for the Wetherill's Convention in Springfield. Had lunch at the Hotel Kimball. Worked at the store in the afternoon. Dinner at the Kimball then the Painters Meeting at the Springfield store. I presided and Mr. Skeen, Mr. Deso, and Mr. Davis spoke. We served a lunch after this meeting. H.M.H. could not come up today on account of the illness of Miss Radcliff.
