Tuesday, January 29, 1929 In Norwalk, Conn. Had breakfast at the Royal James Hotel then spent the whole day calling on the men of Norwalk in the interest of a Rotary Club. Not a very warm response as yet. Left Norwalk at 5-30 and drove to New Haven. Intensely cold, high wind and snow flurries. Got some supper down town then worked at the store till 10-o'clock.
