Wednesday, January 30, 1929 Clear + cold and icy but fine winter weather. Worked all day long on Wallpaper records. Frank Terrill called for me at six o'clock. We then went out to Don Adam's house and picked him up and drove over to Naugatuck, Conn. to the Charter Night of the Naugatuck Rotary Club. District Governor Jim Gunn presented the charter. I presented the Code of Ethics and Jim Alderson of New Britain gave the address of the evening. I was a fine evening all the way through. We drove home via Betheny and the hills were beautiful.
