Another lovely day, so clear and cool. Just an ideal day to work. In to the office all day long. Found many business and Rotary matters to attend to. Attended luncheon of my own club at Hotel Taft at noon. Man from Ringling Bros. Circus, which shows here tomorrow, spoke to us on wild animals. Alice and Lois called on Sarah today and brought her some lovely gifts, both on account of her engagement and for her "Bon Voyage" gifts. It was so sweet of them. I went over to Violette's tonight and took her two letters that I had received from Dr. Donovan Howard's father. Poor man. He too is grief stricken over Ruth's death.
