Wednesday, July 10, 1929 Again, very hot up to the middle of the afternoon. Thermometer 92° then a thunder shower came along in the late afternoon and cooled it off a little bit. We had dinner at home then T.P.H. and I drove up on the hill to greet Fred and Edna Dawless to their new home on the Ridge Road. They have just moved in. It is just a lovely house, so conveniently arranged all through. We wished them "a long life and a happy one" in their new abode.
