T.P.H. drove me in to the New Haven Station and I took the 8 o'clock (Daylight Saving Time) over the Shore Line to Boston on my way to Swampscott, Massachusetts. Allan D. Colvin got on at New London and we traveled together. At Boston, we went to the Statler Hotel and to the Rotary Club headquarters of the Boston Club. We met Jim Gunn of Turners Falls and Albert K. Comins of Wakefield, who took us out to Swampscott to the New Ocean House. We had lunch with Mr. Kennedy, the president, and he showed us all around the place, interesting us to go there for our Fall Conclave in September. It is a delightful place and I know that we shall have a good time there. Caught the 5:05 train for home, arriving at something after nine o'clock.
