Clear and warm but not too hot. Dr. and Mrs. Donovan and Howard came up from New York this morning. Mr. Camp came all the way from Nova Scotia to hold the service for Ruth. The funeral was at two o'clock at Violette's home. There were there just the families and it was a lovely service. Clayton, Violette, Richmond, and Lota sat in the dining room and the rest of us were in the large living room - Auntie "B", Lewis; Harry and Clair; Harley, Alice, Lois Franklin, and Rena Smith Hall; Dr. and Mrs. Donovan and Howard; Jack Norwebb from New York (Howard's friend); Tessie and I. We buried her in Evergreen Cemetary. The flowers were just beautiful and such a lot of them. Harry and Lewis Bill, Franklin Clark, and Jack Norwebb were the bearers.
