Sunday, July 21, 1929 Another beautiful day, warm and clear. After breakfast, T.P.H. and I started in the automobile and drove up to Turners Falls, Mass to see Jim Gunn, District Governor of this 30th District last year. There was much information that I wanted to get from him. We had dinner at the Hotel Northampton, Northampton, Mass, on the way up. Visited with the Gunns till about six o'clock then drove home, coming down the College Highway. The traffic was very heavy although we made the hundred miles in a little over three hours.
