Warm and dry again today. Harley and I drove over to the Walter Goodrich Company, East Chapel Street, today looking over a sight on a railroad siding as a place to bring in linseed oil by the carload and barrel it ourselves. After lunch, he and I drove out to Harry Brown's farm in Southbury to the Rotary Club outing. The men had been playing games of all kinds. Russell Howard of the Howard Co. very badly hurt his knee running to first base. Supper was served under the apple trees in the orchard. Afterwards, we sat under the trees and President George Lovell introduced Don Adams, who spoke to us on the next convention to be held in Chicago in June. I came home with Tracy Redding.
