Friday, July 26, 1929 Beautiful and clear and cool. Left the office at eleven o'clock. Drove to Springfield store. Stopped at H.M. Chittenden's in Meriden, also at Thompsonville and left the Charter and Codes of Ethics for the Windsor Locks Charter Night. Had lunch at East Hartford. Left Springfield shortly after four and drove down to Mantic to camp. Went down through East Hartford, Glastonbury, Salem, Colchester, Salsbury, to Mantic. Arrived about 6-15, in time for evening mess with the men. Visited with them and Mrs. Frederick Holloway till nine o'clock then drove home, bring Frank Brown with me.
