Clear again and much warmer. Worked till one o'clock. T.P.H. came in for me with the Packard. Mother Peck had a postcard from Sarah, mailed in London. Fred and Edna Dawless called for us and took us over to East River Beach to an outing of "The Wives of Rotarians" at the cottage of the Walter Spencer's. We had a good time in the water then had supper. Clam chowder, hot dogs, doughnuts, apple pie, and coffee. We had a lovely ride home with the Dawlesses.
