Sunday, July 28, 1929 Fearfully hot again today and no rain. I slept till nine o'clock. Got up, had breakfast, then worked out in the garden till about two o'clock. We had dinner at home with Father and Mother Peck. Went in to the store tonight to make out some checks, etc, incident to going down to New York tomorrow morning to the Wall Paper Convention.
