At the Commodore Hotel in New York and a scorcher it is too. Had breakfast here with Mr. Gibson of the Becker Smith and Page Company. We spent most of the day looking over their line and a fine line it is too. This afternoon, Harley and I called on Mr. Henry Burn of the Robert Graves Co. He is in pretty bad state mentally since the financial trouble that has come to his company. We also called on Mr. Ross and Mr. Gaines of the Haron Milling Co. Tonight, Harley, Mr. Chamberlain, Mr. Marks, and I went down to the Hotel Mantinique for dinner then came up town and went to the movies and tobed about 12.30. Fearfully hot in the hotel.
