Tuesday, June 4, 1929 At Dallas, Texas attending the Rotary Convention and Assembly. A fine day today, not quite as hot. Had breakfast here at the Hotel Adolphus. Session began at 9 o'clock. Had lunch over at the Baker Hotel and we were divided up into groups to meet the International Director, who would attend our Spring Conference. Another afternoon session. Both of them tremendously interesting and instructive. Tonight, the Ellises called for me and we went out to Fort Worth, Texas for dinner and a look at the town. It was about thirty five miles each way and as we drove around the city quite a bit, it made quite a ride. It was a beautiful evening, clear and not to warm.
