Dallas, Texas. This proved to be the last day of our assembly although we expected to be in session tomorrow also. The last hours of this last day were the most impressive when Rotarians from other parts of the world expressed their abiding faith in Rotary and their friendship for men of all nations. Some of those who spoke were:
- Edward Williams of Brussells, Belgium
- President Tom Sutton of Tampico, Mexico
- Carlos Sanchez Mejorada of Pachuca, Mexico
- John Nelson of Montreal, Canada
- Charles John Ronaldson - New Zealand
- Peter L. Slis - Rotterdam, Holland
- Louis E. Steinmann - Antwerp, Belgium
- Don Francisco Mardones - Santiago, Chile
- Dr. Vaclav Tille - Prague, Czechoslovakia
- Josef Schulz - Prague, Czechoslovakia
- Hans Florelins - Oslo, Norway
- Umekichi Yoneyama - Tokyo, Japan
- Dr. Luis Alberto Chavez Velando - Peru
- Arthur Chadwick - London, England
- Hubert E. Galloway - Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
- Edwin Robinson - Sheffield, England
- W.W. Blair-Fish - England

(Spellings in this entry have been corrected from Vernon's original entry. I got the updated spellings from The Rotarian, July 1929 issue, which includes every name on this list in it. The issue also features a picture on Page 41 of [this pdf](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v_qAWH-RcHDE2TcOW9NNGuTSpXHy65AG/view?usp=sharing) that I believe was taken on 6/5/1929. Vernon is pictured in the top-right, last row, second from the right.)
