Friday, June 7, 1929 En route from Dallas, Texas to New Haven on traveling on the M.K.T. as far as St. Louis then will change to Pennsylvania. Had breakfast on this train and visited with of the Rotarians going North. Arrived at St. Louis about noon and promptly changed and left at 12-02 for New York on the Pennsylvania Lines. Dinner almost at once. This afternoon, ran across Hubert Galloway and Mrs. Galloway, Rotarians en route from the Convention to Washington D.C. We had dinner together tonight on the train. I was host. The Galloways are over from England. It is raining again and the fields along the way are badly flooded.
