Sunday, June 9, 1929 Clear and cool all day. I did not get up till late. Telephoned to Mrs. Palmer regarding church school and she urged me to rest and not go in to the session. I went back to bed. We had dinner together. Pete here also. His head still bothers him. This afternoon, I went in to the Calvary Chinese School party and reception. They were so glad that I could get home in time for it. We had a nice time. I spoke and presented them with a photograph of myself.
