Yale Commencement baseball game and class festivities. Terrifically hot. Thermometer up to 93°, the highest of the year. Many were overcome out at Yale Field at the game, which by the way Yale won from Harvard 16 to 1. We did not go to the game. The first time in many years. We had not tickets then it was too hot. I took a group of Calvary people down to Mrs. H.S. Palmer's cottage tonight at Silver Sands. We were a committee to revise the church school constitution. The committee are Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Cram, Miss Potter, Miss Story, Mr. Taylor, Mr. Richardson, and myself. It was fine a cool on their veranda. We could hardly believe that it was so hot in town until we arrived back uptown. T.P.H., Sarah, Mary Lou, and Pete all slept down in the living room and sun room on the floor it was so hot.
